Korrekturläsa

Hejsan!

Tack igen![smile]

Reading log

Pages 1-22
The book begins with that Mr. Jones, the owner of the animal farm, was very drunk. When he came home he made his way up to the bed, but he forgot one thing. One thing that will make him suffers the consequences of forgetting to feed the animals.

A boar which is one of the animals in the farm, called Old Major, had a strange dream one night and saw it as a message. He wanted to communicate it to the other animals. After couple of days, they have decided to gather in the barn to listen what Old Major had to say.

Many different kinds of animals entered the barn and have made themselves comfortable in the barn. Old Major began to talk whilst the animals tried to find comfortable places. He said that the animals’ lives were miserable, laborious and short. Freedom was a word that was unknown in the animal world. He was also talked about men’s power of the animals and that they never give something in return. The animals work hard. How many eggs do the hens lay during a year? How many litres do the men receive from cows during a year?

Because of the evil of the human being the animals will get rid of them and the produce of their labour will be theirs. The animals must not come to resemble him (the man) and they do not adopt his vices.

Old Major started to sing ‘beasts of England’ and all the animals sang after him. His speech and song had given to the more intelligent animals on the farm a completely new overlook on life. They had the confidence, the confidence that would free the animals from the hell.

Pigs were generally recognised as being the cleverest of the animals, and there were only two of them in the farm. Napoleon and Snowball. Napoleon was a large, rather fierce looking boar, not much of a talker, but with a reputation for getting his own way. Snowball was more vivacious pig than Napoleon, more inventive, but was not considered to have the same depth of character.

The animals created a group called Animalism. It is just for animals, as you may figured it out; thereof Animalism. Every night when Mr. Jones was sleeping, the animals held secret meetings in the barn. They discussed about his way of treating them and how they would do to stop it.

One night, when he had forgotten to feed the animals at last the animals could stand it no longer, one of the cows broke in the door of the store-shed. Mr. Jones realized that he did a big mistake that he had forgotten. He has never seen animals behave like this before. Mr Jones got expelled from the farm and the animals could hardly believe in their good fortune.

Every morning they could wake up knowing that everything that they could see was theirs.

Jag tycker om den här beskrivande meningen. Låter som att det är utdraget ur en bok. [y]

För svenskt. Gör om meningen. Och couldn't ska det vara.

Dream:

Mr. Jones realized that he did a big mistake that he had forgotten.

Realised och realized. Ena är amerikanskt och andra brittiskt. Välj ena, och håll dig till det. Och He didn't do a big mistake, he made a big mistake. Och sen så låter meningen fel. He made a mistake that he had forgotten. He had forgotten the mistake he made, and now he realized his mistake?
